Westminster Communities of Florida, a nationally recognized not-for-profit church-related organization, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance and accounting team in our management office near downtown Orlando, Florida, United States. This position maintains accurate financial records, ensures compliance with accounting standards, and supports the organization’s financial reporting processes. Key duties include maintaining the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports; assisting with budget-to-actual analyses; ensuring GAAP compliance and supporting the annual audit; using accounting software such as Acumatica or Sage and Microsoft Excel to manage data and generate reports; collaborating with managers and other departments to provide financial guidance; and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
