Chester Community Charter School is seeking a People Operations Specialist to assist and facilitate human resources processes. This on-site role will manage efforts, systems, and processes to attract talent and oversee onboarding for hourly and part-time staff. The position focuses on supporting recruitment efforts within the Chester, Pennsylvania community and surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include developing and executing recruitment plans, networking through industry contacts and associations, tracking recruitment goals, handling administrative duties and data collection (cost per hire and time-to-hire), screening applicants, coordinating with managers to evaluate recruitment effectiveness, building a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need, researching new sourcing channels, overseeing new hire documentation and onboarding, and collaborating with school leaders to foster a welcoming team environment. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, two years of recruitment experience (preferably in education), experience with sourcing and pipeline development, a background in advertising and marketing preferred, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and required clearances (Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Background Clearance). Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and data-driven recruitment, plus familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and recruitment web applications, is expected. Salary range: $45,000–$50,000 USD.
