The ideal candidate will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications as part of our ongoing platform evolution, and will work across the stack (front-end and back-end) in a dynamic, agile environment. Responsibilities include building, testing, deploying, and iterating on both existing and new technology products that serve internal and external users; leveraging front-end (web/mobile), back-end development, cloud services (AWS), and DevOps practices to drive automation and continuous improvement; supporting legacy systems and transitioning them to modern architectures; and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role requires problem-solving and sound judgment in a fast-paced development setting.

Qualifications: - 5+ years of full-time software development experience - Backend development experience in Java or Python - Proficiency with SQL and database fundamentals - Strong knowledge of modern web standards, accessibility, and security best practices - Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks; ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency with frontend technologies such as React/JavaScript - Experience with GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is a plus
