Allwyn UK is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to provide technical leadership for reliability across our digital estate, ensuring high availability, performance and resilience of customer-facing systems during both normal operation and peak lottery events. The role blends hands-on engineering with incident leadership and ownership of the SRE improvement backlog, collaborating with platform, product, and operational teams. Responsibilities include defining and governing SLOs/SLIs and error budgets; leading incident response and on-call duties; driving automation and platform maturity; and maturing observability using Splunk, CloudWatch, Grafana, and Quantum Metric. You will lead capacity and performance engineering for high-concurrency draw events and jackpot spikes, own the incident lifecycle from detection to post-incident review, and mentor engineers on reliability practices.
