Overview: Sainsbury’s is seeking a Stores People Partner to join our regional People team for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in City of London. In this role you will deliver the people plan consistently across all stores in your region, supporting workforce and talent planning, succession planning, and the use of data and insights to identify risk stores and implement targeted actions to improve performance, capability, absence, and engagement. You will review progress against plans, partner with store leadership to embed actions, and conduct sampling and quality checks to ensure People processes are applied consistently. You will lead cyclical people activities such as performance, engagement, talent and succession, and support change projects including transformation by ensuring clear communication and operational readiness in stores. You will build trusted partnerships with Store Managers, Store People Leads, and operational leaders to translate strategic priorities into practical, store-ready actions that enhance colleague experience and drive outcomes.
