This is a hybrid role based in Chandler, Arizona, United States, focusing on the planning, design, and construction administration/observation of airfields and airside/landside facilities. The Aviation Project Manager will direct one or more project teams to develop contract plans for aviation projects in accordance with established engineering standards and federal/state requirements. This role works closely with the Regional Business Leader, Aviation Business Center Sector Leader, and National Sector Leader and handles multiple projects ranging from general aviation to large hub airports. Key responsibilities include managing landside and airside contracts, coordinating with airport boards, pursuing funding opportunities, establishing goals and milestones, monitoring budgets and schedules, ensuring FAA compliance, guiding staff, and supporting client communications and marketing efforts. The successful candidate will stay current with engineering practice, represent the firm in professional settings, and contribute to the growth of Stantec’s Airport Sector.
