Coherent Corp is seeking a Demand Planning & Business Analytics Specialist in Lübeck, Germany with a hybrid work arrangement. In this role you will support demand planning, forecasting, order coordination and business reporting, working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasts and enhanced supply chain visibility for data-driven decision making. Responsibilities include analyzing and consolidating customer demand using historical data and external factors to generate reliable forecasts, maintaining forecast, revenue and control files, monitoring forecast accuracy and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, identifying demand risks and supply constraints, tracking delivery performance and variances, coordinating delivery schedules and changes, and creating and maintaining standardized updates on product availability and schedule changes. You will develop and enhance business reports and dashboards, particularly using Power BI, and drive automation of reporting and data analysis to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes, while harmonizing data structures, KPIs and business systems. Requirements include a commercial or technical qualification (Bachelor Professional or equivalent) with a focus on Data Analytics, experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, Sales Controlling or Business Analytics, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience with ERP systems and BI tools (Power BI), a good understanding of forecasting methodologies and KPIs, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English (minimum B2)
