UChicago Medicine is seeking a Program Manager, Business Continuity for the Operational Excellence team in Hyde Park, Chicago. This is a full-time hybrid on-site position based in the greater Chicagoland area and will lead the development and execution of the organization’s business continuity program to ensure uninterrupted operations during internal or external events. Responsibilities include developing an enterprise-wide business continuity framework using an all-hazards approach, coordinating with Environmental Health and Safety and Emergency Management, and partnering with information technology to establish IT continuity plans and disaster recovery. The role also coordinates drills with senior leadership, aligns plans with external regulations, and maintains collaboration with hospital, regional, and national authorities. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree (masters preferred) and 5–7 years of experience in Emergency Management and/or Business Continuity in healthcare settings, knowledge of the Hospital Incident Command Structure, and strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. The position requires the ability to work across levels of the organization and manage multiple projects effectively.
