Senior Accountant EVERSANA is a global provider of life sciences commercialization services. We are seeking a Senior Accountant for an on-site, Chicago-based role to ensure accurate and timely accounting transactions and reconciliations, manage the month-end close, and collaborate with third-party auditors to ensure compliant financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Qualifications: Work environment:

Perform month-end close processes and post journal entries to the general ledger
Lead the reconciliation of assigned accounts to ensure accurate reporting
Identify discrepancies in accounting records and provide proactive analyses
Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor questions
Recommend improvements to accounting controls, procedures, and policies
Identify opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements
Serve as backup within the Finance department and support consolidation of international locations, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency accounting
Assist with purchase accounting and integration of acquisitions
Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3–5 years of accounting experience
Proficiency with complex spreadsheets and accounting systems
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
