Key responsibilities include contacting regular and prospective customers to drive new business; demonstrating products and providing information on availability, price, and developments; answering questions about terms and durability; completing sales contracts and recording sales data; collecting receivables in a timely manner; promoting products at trade shows and conferences; maintaining technical knowledge and meeting sales goals; understanding and applying company credit policy; driving a company vehicle; delivering excellent customer service; and performing other duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is required; follow all policies.
Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred; one year of related experience required; sales experience, especially in agriculture, preferred; recent graduates with internship experience considered.
Skills and qualifications: Certified Crop Advisor license preferred; knowledge of fertilizer formulation and agricultural precision
