The team maintains Airbnb’s global video production and AV infrastructure in conference rooms and other spaces and collaborates with external AV consultants and integrators. Your responsibilities include leading hands-on work on 30–100 person multipurpose spaces, boardrooms, and large conference rooms; researching and prototyping new technologies, including AI-related concepts; and partnering with the IT builds and project management teams throughout design and build phases. You will also assist in the design and operation of broadcast-grade AV infrastructure for large-scale events and audiences of 100–1,000 people. Typical day: split time between the lab testing new equipment, performing studio commissioning, and occasionally traveling to global offices to commission spaces.
