About the role
Site Reliability Engineer role in Vilnius, Lithuania, with a hybrid work model. You will join Ignitis Group’s IT Infrastructure and Operations division to provide technical leadership, ensure reliable and secure IT infrastructure, and support the ongoing modernization of critical technology platforms across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Ensure high reliability and availability of critical infrastructure and services through SRE practices and automation
- Design, implement, and maintain resilient systems across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
- Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions that provide actionable insights and improve incident response
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, release reliability, and safe deployment strategies (e.g., canary, blue-green)
- Support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes to meet and improve RTO/RPO objectives
- Implement infrastructure security controls, hardening systems, managing secrets, and supporting regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIS2, or similar)
- Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to continually optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Contribute to technical documentation, mentoring peers, and participating in post-incident reviews to enhance operational excellence
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or IT operations
- Strong background in Kubernetes platforms, Linux/Windows systems administration, networking fundamentals and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, C
