RS EDEN is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the CFO and assist in training members of the Accounting Department. This on-site position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Responsibilities include preparing monthly program and grant billings, maintaining open aged accounts receivable, and producing other AR reports as needed; maintaining client rent AR for supportive housing programs; reconciling AR detail with the general ledger; reconciling the operating bank account to the general ledger and coordinating with the CFO on any adjustments; entering fixed assets into FAS software and reconciling reports to the general ledger quarterly, including depreciation calculations; assisting with general ledger reconciliations and schedules; supporting audit preparation for RS EDEN and related partnerships; documenting and updating accounting processes and internal controls; coordinating monthly and year-end record retention and long-term storage; and assisting the CFO with other projects as needed. The role also emphasizes maintaining a positive work environment and safeguarding PHI in accordance with HIPAA and related standards.
