You will drive the design process from problem framing to production-ready Figma files with clear rationale for every decision. Working in a cross-functional squad with engineers and product managers, you’ll make real design decisions and push the quality bar. The role focuses on the industries we serve—field service, asset management, manufacturing, and supply chain—and contemplates how AI, ambient computing, voice, and autonomous systems could reshape how operators interact with software. Your responsibilities include: • Own design for defined feature areas end-to-end, from problem framing through to production-ready assets; • Collaborate in cross-functional squads, presenting design thinking with evidence to stakeholders; • Discovery & Research: plan and conduct user interviews, JTBD analysis, and journey mapping; synthesize findings into clear design direction; track quantitative signals alongside qualitative insights to drive iteration; • AI & Emerging Technology: design AI-driven features with clear understanding of opportunities and risks, including prompts, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop moments; • Design Systems & Quality: contribute to the IFS design system, proposing reusable components and patterns, and apply WCAG 2.1+ accessibility from the start; • Delivery & Impact: ensure work ships and improves task success, reduces UX-related support tickets, and becomes a reference for the squad.
