American Freedom Insurance Company (AFIC) is seeking an on-site Underwriting Team Lead based in Mount Prospect, Illinois to guide the underwriting team, ensure accuracy, and uphold service standards. This role supports AFIC’s growth across markets and reports to management, partnering with internal teams and agents to deliver quality outcomes.
What You'll Do - Review work for accuracy and ensure underwriting guidelines are followed consistently - Monitor workflows and prioritize daily assignments to meet service levels - Collaborate with management to improve processes and increase operational efficiency - Communicate professionally with agents, internal departments, and leadership - Perform quality control reviews and resolve underwriting issues - Utilize Microsoft Excel to track production, analyze data, and prepare reports - Maintain accurate records with exceptional attention to detail
