Senior Revenue Accountant at Abnormal AI is responsible for owning key aspects of the revenue close process, including preparing and reviewing audit-ready reconciliations, workpapers, journal entries, and analyses to support monthly close, financial reporting, and external audits. This role partners with Deal Desk, FP&A, Legal, and other teams to resolve operational issues and improve upstream processes, focusing on standardization, controls, and automation through AI-enabled workflows. Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 4+ years of progressive accounting, audit, or related finance experience; strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP with revenue recognition experience; demonstrated history owning or leading recurring close activities, reconciliations, and financial analyses in a fast-paced environment; strong analytical skills and attention to detail; advanced Excel skills including reconciliations, lookups, and large data analyses. Nice to Have: ASC 606 and ASC 340-40 experience in a SaaS revenue accounting environment; experience at a Big Four firm, a high-growth pre-IPO company, or a publicly traded technology company; experience with ERP, billing, and close-management systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Maxio, or FloQast; CPA license or active progress toward CPA and interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve accounting processes.
