This salaried, on-site role provides comprehensive preconstruction services for multiple large-scale commercial projects, including estimating, scheduling, value engineering, risk management, bid solicitation, and subcontractor outreach/procurement. The position collaborates with owners, architects, and Pointcore team members, and supports the development and organization of document control, tracking, and distribution of construction documents, as well as taking meeting minutes for clients and trade partners. The Assistant Preconstruction Project Manager leads or supports smaller projects and oversees the overall safety, direction, completion, and financial outcomes from GMP approval through closeout. Responsibilities include running owner and trade partner meetings, trade partner buyouts, material procurement, site safety and quality, project scheduling, drafting subcontracts and change orders, cost forecasting, and construction document management. Required qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience), internships in construction management or related areas, a valid state driver’s license, and OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety training within six months of hire.
