HDR Engineering is seeking a Transmission Line Engineering Manager to join our Power Delivery team in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. This on-site role will lead the engineering and design of high-voltage transmission line projects, guiding technical execution within project teams and coordinating with the Project Manager on scope, schedule, and budget.

As the technical lead, you will manage and execute the engineering components, mentor Project Engineers, EITs, Designers, CADD technicians and administrative staff, and ensure quality through HDR’s QA/QC processes. You will develop and implement project execution plans for the technical aspects of transmission projects, perform risk assessments, support proposals, and help manage work breakdown structures, schedules, and changes. You’ll participate in project reviews, lead multiple projects as needed, and collaborate with senior engineers to develop specialized technical expertise. The role may involve preparing technical papers and presentations for industry conferences or HDR’s client-facing activities.
