Customer Success Manager - Public Sector About Canva: Canva is scaling and empowering organizations to realize value from our design platform. This role focuses on the Public Sector segment, including Higher Education, Government, Healthcare, and Not-for-profit accounts.
Responsibilities
Who you are:
- Lead the post-sale relationship for Public Sector accounts across the full customer journey: adoption, advocacy, renewal, and expansion.
- Grow accounts by understanding customers' objectives, building multi-threaded relationships, and partnering with the account team to renew and expand.
- Use data and analytics to demonstrate Canva's ROI and influence decision-making with compelling data storytelling.
- Proactively manage risk by anticipating budget cycles and leadership changes to forecast renewals accurately.
- Develop depth of Canva platform knowledge and articulate its value for Public Sector use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product improvements and keep customers updated on new features.
- Commercially minded CSM with 3+ years in B2B SaaS, with a track record of meeting or exceeding renewal and expansion targets.
- Skilled at relationship-building, multi-threading, and navigating complex org structures to earn trust with senior stakeholders.
- Data-driven storyteller who translates metrics into business outcomes and persuades both customer executives and internal teams.
- Self-starter with a bias for action, who writes playbooks rather than waiting for them.
