Puridiom Java Developer (Associate or Mid-level IT Programmer Analyst) is a position with Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC). The role is based in Aiken, South Carolina on the Savannah River Site, with eligibility for remote telework under the SRMC Telework Policy.
Overview: SRMC seeks a Java Developer to analyze, configure, test, and implement enterprise-wide purchased systems (for example SAP, PeopleSoft). The successful candidate will prepare system specifications and plan upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance to support diverse business systems.
Responsibilities at the Associate IT Programmer Analyst level include: developing flow charts and process diagrams; developing and revising program code; documenting program development and operating instructions; conducting tests and analyzing system capabilities to resolve input/output problems; assisting in research, design, development, and modification of systems and applications software; planning system deployment and ensuring software compliance; evaluating hardware-software interfaces and system requirements; documenting testing and maintenance; providing patches and upgrades to existing systems; assisting in the design of web-based, mobile, cloud, and security interfaces to meet user needs; potentially building add-on modules using application languages; may have vendor management responsibilities; performing work with direction and some latitude in technical objectives; assisting in project completion; and other duties as assigned.
