This hybrid role involves implementing, monitoring, and maintaining scalable, highly available software systems; automating repetitive tasks; developing tools for performance monitoring and resource utilization; and collaborating with software development teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments. You will participate in on-call rotations, perform post-incident analyses, support release planning, capacity management, and chaos engineering, and contribute to training on platform capabilities. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent, at least 3 years in an SRE or DevOps role, strong Linux/Unix administration, experience with automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.), Docker and Kubernetes, scripting in Python, Bash, or Perl, and familiarity with AWS and GCP. A background in Agile environments and excellent communication skills are required.
