Team Lead role to support the Case Management team by conducting second-level reviews of Reports of Investigation (ROI) and mentoring each Case Manager. This position provides hands-on leadership with operational responsibilities to ensure Case Managers perform effectively while maintaining Federal Investigative Standards and Trusted Workforce 2.0 requirements. The role oversees reporting, audits, compliance, and other process-related tasks, while also contributing directly to production to meet team and contract expectations. Key responsibilities include supervising a team of Case Reviewers, monitoring cases to ensure timely delivery and tracking submission of investigative leads, reviewing quality and taking corrective actions, prioritizing cases with noteworthy or derogatory information, conducting second-level reviews, and completing annual evaluations for team members. It also involves providing guidance and training to field and post-field staff, counseling and disciplinary actions as needed, maintaining regular communications to ensure consistency, approving timesheets including leave management, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a thorough understanding of Federal Investigative Standards and Trusted Workforce 2.0; strong interpersonal and professional skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, database software, e-mail, Internet, and IRMA; experience in background investigations and knowledge of FIS and TW 2.0; DHS contract experience.
