About the role
Overview: The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the organization’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and federal grant compliance. This senior finance leader will ensure GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards (ASC 958) are rigorously applied, manage external audits, and provide strategic financial guidance to leadership. Given NACDD’s substantial reliance on federal funding, the Controller will bring deep expertise in federal grant accounting, cost allocation, indirect cost rate development, and compliance with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requirements. The role reports to the Interim CEO and will work closely with the Fractional CFO, with a path to reporting to a permanent CFO.
