About the role
BCMC is a technology solutions provider supporting a U.S. Government customer in Arlington, Virginia, to rapidly deploy and manage secure cloud-based engagement kits for cyber incident response and threat hunting operations. As a DevOps Engineer, you will automate, optimize, and enhance the deployment and management of Bespin cloud engagement kits, focusing on robust CI/CD pipelines, source control management, and infrastructure-as-code to ensure deployments are scalable, repeatable, and secure.
Responsibilities
Required Skills:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated engagement kit deployment
- Manage source control and code repositories for infrastructure configurations
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources
- Enhance kit capabilities through automation and optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with architects and administrators to streamline deployment processes
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions
- Support troubleshooting and performance optimization during active operations
- Maintain version control and change management processes
- Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual effort
- Ensure consistency and repeatability across engagement kit deployments
- Participate in security hardening and compliance automation efforts
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering roles
