Energy Transfer is seeking an experienced Lead Application Support and DevOps Specialist to administer and support multiple enterprise platforms. The role serves as the primary point of contact for several applications, collaborating with business and technical teams to analyze problems, resolve issues, and drive process improvements through automation and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have development or scripting experience with a DevOps background.
Responsibilities include: - Providing direct technical assistance to key business users and supporting both vendor- and custom-developed applications - Maintaining build processes, deployment strategies, and automation - Installing and coordinating patches and releases across development, testing, and production environments - Improving application delivery using containers, orchestration, and configuration management tools - Assisting business teams and vendors with installations and upgrades - Supporting and maintaining application infrastructure (servers, network topology, authentication, high availability) - Administering server access, audit controls, and reports to ensure Segregation of Duties - Staying up to date on current technologies, recommending strategies and tools - Coordinating meetings and documenting key decisions, risks, and issues - Working with minimal supervision and owning applications and areas of responsibility - Providing after-hours support for business-critical projects
