Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer for Machine Learning to help us make roads safer. CMT applies AI to reduce risk, detect crashes, and provide life-saving assistance for drivers worldwide. Responsibilities include owning SLOs, error budgets, and the health of Ray clusters on AWS EKS and Databricks workloads on AWS EC2 across multiple accounts and regions; maintaining observability of uptime, availability, and scalability with CloudWatch and Datadog; operating and tuning EKS Ray workloads at scale with autoscaling, GPU scheduling, and automated failure recovery; managing Databricks on AWS including workspace administration, cluster policies, Unity Catalog, job orchestration, and IAM roles and policies; maintaining cost visibility and capacity planning across EC2 and EKS workloads; performing ongoing infrastructure maintenance, including security updates and OS upgrades; codifying infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines with pull request workflows; leading incident response for Data Science and ML platform outages and driving systemic remediation; and performing additional duties as they arise.
