Software Engineer Mid Level – ELEVI is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to join our team in Fort Meade, Maryland. A current or active security clearance with poly is required.

Qualifications - Fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required; five (5) or more years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a degree.

Required Skills - Familiar with working in a virtual environment including creating virtual machines, images, and virtual networking. - Proficient with Python to generate scripts to automate VM setup. - Ability to multitask and pivot to different tasks quickly. - Experience with Atlassian tools and Git. - Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE.

Desired Skills - Kotlin - Spring or Spring Boot - Kubernetes - Java applications (no front end necessary), REST

Responsibilities - Work with a team to gather information and design/create/configure tools for monitoring. - Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. - Work individually or as part of a team. - Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results. - Resolve software problem reports. Use software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environm
