About the role
Envolve Client Services Group is seeking a full-time Assistant Community Manager to work at Lamar Crossing in Memphis, Tennessee. This role supports the Community Manager in directing maintenance, leasing, and resident relations, and assists with on-site staff supervision and daily property operations.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Assist in directing and supervising maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping activities.
- Assist Manager in inspecting the exterior and overall property condition.
- Make recommendations to the Community Manager for necessary improvements.
- Support leasing activities and supervision of leasing staff.
- Maintain knowledge of the local market and competition.
- Prepare and review weekly activity reports and rental documentation.
- Assist in training on-site leasing personnel.
- Support resident communications and renewal/retention initiatives.
- Handle resident requests and documentation, including collections, delinquencies, and financial reporting.
- Assist in month-end income and lease reporting; bank reconciliation.
- Manage NSF collections; assist with legal filings for delinquent accounts as directed by the Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- 1–2 years of property management experience or equivalent; 1–3 years of leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents and staff; ability to take directions and improve from feedback.
