Senior Program Manager for Stand-off Precision Guided Munitions (SOPGM) at MTSI will serve as the principal acquisition advisor to the USSOCOM PEO-FW SOPGM Program Manager and Deputy, overseeing the acquisition, development, integration, and fielding of complex weapon systems for Air Force Special Operations Command aircraft. The role leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), coordinates with Combat Acquisition Detachments, AFSOC, CADs, and industry partners, and translates operational requirements into executable acquisition strategies and technical specifications. Responsibilities include developing fielding roadmaps, managing cost, schedule, and technical risks, and ensuring program documentation and reviews are completed. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of defense acquisition management experience, deep knowledge of DoD/USSOCOM processes, and a track record of leading technical programs for aviation/weapon systems. A bachelor's degree in business, acquisition/program management, engineering or related field is required; advanced degrees and prior AFSOC/USSOCOM experience are a plus. Active DoD Secret clearance is required; Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility is highly desired. Travel may be required. The position is on-site in the Eglin AFB, Florida area (with collaboration with Tampa, Florida).
