About the role
Shaker Recruitment Marketing is seeking a Senior UX Designer to design and deliver Career Websites across platforms and custom builds. This role supports the Creative team to meet growing demand for high-quality, candidate-focused digital experiences.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Lead UX workstreams across the full project lifecycle—from discovery to launch—translating employer brand direction into intuitive, scalable career website experiences.
- Create sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance storytelling, usability, and platform constraints.
- Support CMS and platform implementations; ensure designs translate effectively into build environments.
- Design within CMS and platform constraints while maintaining visual quality and accessibility.
- Build and maintain design systems in Figma (auto layout, components, tokens) to enable speed and reuse across projects.
- Collaborate with copywriters, developers, PMs, and Creative Director to ensure alignment and seamless handoffs.
- Prepare developer-ready specs and annotations; work with frontend developers to ensure fidelity across responsive states.
- Present design concepts and rationale to internal and client teams; ensure accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) are met.
- Contribute to evolving UX patterns and documentation; help create repeatable processes for Career Websites practice.
- Align with project managers to meet timelines and deliverables.
