About the role

ZoomInfo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a cross-domain team that spans Engagement Intelligence and the Chorus Platform. You will design, build, and deploy distributed systems that process high-volume data in real time, including streaming data pipelines with Kafka, real-time engagement-to-CRM mapping, and Java microservices. You will also develop Python backend services and RESTful APIs handling millions of requests per day, and build third-party integrations with major conferencing providers. You will own customer-facing aspects from design through production operation, drive architectural decisions, and promote engineering best practices. You will mentor engineers across the team and serve as a technical point of contact across teams.

What you bring: 7+ years of software development experience; BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or equivalent. Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python (deep expertise in one and working proficiency in the other). 3+ years building distributed systems and microservices at scale. 3+ years with streaming data platforms (Kafka strongly preferred). 4+ years of cloud experience (AWS/GCP). Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Elasticsearch). Strong RESTful API design and event-driven architecture. Experience with CI/CD, package management, and release cycles. Strong architectural design skills and hands-on capability. Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrated leadership: mentoring engineers, driving projects independently.
