Responsibilities

Design and develop robust C++ software in a heterogeneous, multi-processor real-time embedded environment.
Lead efforts to modularize and unify robotics software frameworks across platforms and product lines.
Build software functionality for multiple robotic systems, balancing flexibility and peak performance.
Analyze system performance and safety, verify adherence to specifications, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Extend existing tools and create new ones to support analysis and testing.
Collaborate with Platform Software, Hardware, System Analysis, System Test, UI Software Engineering, Manufacturing, and Clinical Engineering teams.
Participate in risk analysis, define requirements, implement mitigations, and draft/execute verification tests.
Contribute to software development across areas such as robotics frameworks, middleware, motion control hardware configuration, real-time performance analysis, offline simulation environments, and diagnostics tools.
