State Farm is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Data Center Networking to join the IEOM NaaS Engineering team. This role focuses on Data Center LAN, WAN, load balancing, and DNS, with opportunities to expand into additional network domains. You will collaborate with ET product teams, IEOM Service Delivery, and a Managed Service Provider to evaluate and validate technical solutions and architectural changes, and you will help set future standards in collaboration with the IEOM Area Level Architecture and PSO. The position is hybrid and hub locations include Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; Tempe, Arizona, within a 180-mile radius of these hubs. Responsibilities include hands-on prototyping, POCs, researching new tools, and documenting findings and architectural decisions. Qualifications include a self-starting, results-driven approach, strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, knowledge of security principles, and experience with vendors. Preferred skills include Data Center LAN, F5 load balancing, DNS, Data Center WAN, monitoring/logging tools, and related certifications. This is a full-time role with State Farm benefits; Sponsorship is not provided for US work authorization.
