Write test cases and scripts; create test data; conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads.
Perform and lead tests on software and IT systems to ensure proper operation and defect-free performance; document and communicate test results; support analysis and resolution of open issues.
Create daily test metrics and reporting; track defects in issue-tracking tools; coordinate with Development and Operations to resolve problems.
Provide direction to team members and mentor junior testers; participate in test reviews and implement risk-based, exploratory, and context-driven testing strategies.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; leverage test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, QTP, LoadRunner) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with standards and security requirements; support program-wide QA initiatives and process improvements.
Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing; perform other IT systems engineering activities as needed.
