Sedgwick is seeking a Workforce Absence Team Lead to supervise multiple teams of examiners and technical staff responsible for disability claims. This role monitors workloads, delivers training, provides technical and jurisdictional direction on examiner reports, and maintains detailed diaries for claims, including complex or high-exposure cases. Responsibilities include identifying trends and advising management on action plans, coordinating with management projects, conducting quality reviews in line with audit, service contract, and quality standards, acting as second-level appeal for client and claimant issues, reviewing reserve amounts on high-cost claims, and monitoring third-party claims. The Lead maintains client relationships, ensures licensing across jurisdictions serviced, and ensures proper claims coding and documentation. The position requires collaboration with staff and clients, supports quality programs, and adheres to company policies. This role requires a bachelor's degree and significant claims experience, including supervisory experience; strong communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills are essential. The role is based in Dublin, OH, with a hybrid work arrangement.
