The Technical Writer will collect, organize, and transform technical and operational information into formal documentation used by government and contractor personnel. This role supports engineering, cyber, networking, A/V, and simulation teams by capturing procedures, configuration steps, workflows, system behaviors, and troubleshooting actions in a structured and repeatable format. The Technical Writer ensures all documents are accurate, consistent, fully traceable, and suitable for internal technical use. Key responsibilities include data collection and research, document development and production, quality control and review, technical process capture, and stakeholder coordination. Requirements include 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field, or 4 years with a master's, or 10 years with a high school diploma or equivalent; experience producing technical documentation in a structured environment; ability to write system engineering reports, manuals, and other documents; ability to define and implement configuration management processes; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows, Linux, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. An active Top Secret clearance within the last 24 months is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance. Work environment: on-site; not eligible for remote work.
