Silvus Technologies is seeking a Technical Support Hardware Specialist to support our Engineering and Manufacturing teams. This role acts as a bridge between design and production, ensuring teams have the right electronic and mechanical components at the right time and managing the long-term health of our product builds. This is a 100% on-site position at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in West Los Angeles, California, reporting to the Director of Hardware Engineering Operations. Responsibilities include: Procurement and Selection Support — assist Engineering with identifying, selecting, and procuring components; coordinate with vendors to source parts that meet technical requirements and project timelines. Lifecycle Management — partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to monitor component lifecycle events (End-of-Life and Product Change Notifications) and proactively track changes to prevent supply chain disruptions. Drive the execution of component qualification plans — organize documentation, track testing progress, and ensure that alternative or new parts meet all quality and functional standards before being integrated into production. Documentation and Data Entry — maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manage technical documentation within our PLM/ERP systems. Vendor Relations — serve as a primary point of contact for suppliers to request quotes, lead times, and datasheets. Perform other related duties as assigned.
