CTY Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full lifecycle recruitment for Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth (CTY) across departments, schools, and academic centers. The role partners with hiring managers, compensation, and HR business partners to plan, source, interview, hire, and onboard the right talent to support JHU’s short- and long-term goals, while advancing diversity, equity, civility, and respect. Responsibilities include collaborating with hiring managers to establish hiring criteria; advising on job descriptions and postings; developing recruiting plans; creating innovative sourcing strategies for passive and diverse candidates using job postings, internal databases, employee referrals, online boards, data mining, social media, career fairs, and networking. Build and maintain relationships with professional associations and colleges to identify candidates and referrals; market the organization to potential applicants through coordinated communications; cooperate with external recruitment firms for retained or contingent searches, overseeing their work to ensure deliverables. Ensure diverse candidate pools and slates; advise leadership on diversity trends.
