Archer Aviation is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack for its AI Products Organization in San Jose, California. This on-site role contributes to Archer’s AI-powered airline operations software ecosystem, building web and mobile applications for general aviation (not on the Midnight program). We are assembling an elite team of 0 to 1 engineers who will take product requirements from concept to production. You will build high-quality web and mobile applications, create and manage backend infrastructure, own the software development lifecycle, design scalable architectures, and collaborate with design, data science, and aviation experts. You will apply code-generation techniques and integrate AI and ML algorithms from our research team into SaaS products. What you need includes 5+ years of post-college experience, a degree in engineering, end-to-end software development experience, a strong GitHub portfolio, the ability to create intuitive products without a dedicated designer, experience deploying AI-enabled SaaS products, familiarity with serverless and microservices, and proficiency in CI/CD. Bonus qualifications include Kubernetes, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, Docker, Temporal; a passion for aviation or UAM; and willingness to move between mobile and web development.
