The Agents, Automations & Plugins team connects external tools to Rippling's AI layer, enables autonomous workflows, and packages capabilities for agents. This greenfield work underpins every AI-powered feature and the platform layer that supports internal teams and customers. You will own major AI agent infrastructure initiatives across backend, platform, and AI-enabled systems; lead design and execution for systems that support agent creation, invocation, triggering, skill packaging, plugin connectivity, and automation orchestration; build foundational tools that are reusable across Rippling product teams and for external customers; act as technical lead for cross-functional work with Product, AI Infra, Platform, and Engineering teams; translate ambiguous problems into architecture and execution plans; write code, review critical paths, debug production issues, and make implementation-level decisions daily; balance speed, quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability in a fast-moving environment.
