Software Engineer II - Backend is an on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with HungerStation, part of Delivery Hero Group. We are seeking a skilled backend engineer to join our Riyadh team. In this role you will collaborate with the Product Team to understand requirements and provide technical expertise to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs. Responsibilities include software development, analyzing requirements, building components, documenting coding steps, and participating in code reviews, testing, and user trials. You will follow governance policies and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, while supporting daily operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Qualifications include 4-5 years of backend development experience using GoLang, Ruby on Rails, Java, or Python; a Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Knowledge of software architecture such as Domain-Driven Design, microservices, Kubernetes, and containerization is desirable.
