U.S. Bank is seeking full-time Software Engineers for multiple openings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Software Engineer will help build credit card APIs and highly available microservices using Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD practices. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment, collaborate with product teams to deliver new capabilities for Above the Glass applications, and coordinate with offshore teams as needed. Responsibilities include developing and deploying microservices, implementing API integrations (GraphQL and Apollo Gateway), enabling real-time data streaming and analytics with Kafka, and deploying applications on Kubernetes clusters (Rancher). The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and several years of experience with microservice architectures, REST APIs, Kafka, Jenkins, Docker, and SQL databases such as Postgres or DB2.
