The role supports a government customer and focuses on an innovative MLOps workload involving petabyte-scale data on an HPC. You will design, develop, and maintain MSIC software applications and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Core technologies include Python, Docker, NoSQL/SQL, and Apache Airflow/Kafka. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable MLOps pipelines, containerized applications, database management, data workflows, automation of ML model training and deployment, API design and scalability, infrastructure as code, and collaboration with data scientists to integrate ML models into applications. You will contribute to a microservices architecture and participate in the full software development lifecycle. The role also involves mentoring teammates, providing feedback, and supporting team development. Qualifications include TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for SCI, 7+ years in software development or related fields, proficiency in Python and its frameworks, experience with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, version control, NoSQL/SQL, Airflow, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), solid software design patterns, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
