Axel Springer Tech is seeking a Senior QA Manager to own the end-to-end QA strategy and execution for our Android and iOS apps in Berlin, Germany. This hybrid role focuses on scalable manual and automated testing, driving innovation across our mobile apps, and mentoring QA engineers and working students to foster team growth. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and designers to deliver high-quality features through our Scrum process. Responsibilities include designing and evolving test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks to ensure stability and scalability; taking a proactive approach to quality by identifying, tracking, and resolving bugs in Jira; and conducting comprehensive regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. You will monitor and optimize app performance using tools such as Charles Proxy, Crashlytics, and analytics platforms. Qualifications include deep expertise in mobile app quality assurance, experience with Appium or similar frameworks, hands-on manual testing, and strong communication in an international environment (German is a plus but not required). The role requires fluent English and collaboration across teams.
