About the role

Senior QA Engineer (Mobile) at Cupid Media in a fully remote role based in Romania. The position focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of globally used mobile applications. You will own the QA lifecycle, from feature validation and test planning to production releases, combining hands-on testing, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams. You will help improve product stability, user experience, and release confidence across mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

Drive quality assurance across mobile product development, ensuring reliable releases and continuous improvement of testing practices.
Own the validation process from technical hand-off through successful production deployment.
Review product specifications, define test strategies, and create detailed test plans, cases, and checklists.
Estimate testing efforts and deliver high-quality validation within agreed timelines.
Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end API testing across real devices and emulators.
Develop, maintain, and expand mobile test automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality checks.
Automate critical user journeys and manage test data preparation and cleanup.
Conduct test documentation, participate in code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Mobile Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Architects throughout the development lifecycle.
