Staffbase is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to help secure our AI-native Employee Experience Platform. You will take ownership of security automation and strengthen product security pipelines, proactively explore the use of AI for vulnerability detection and remediation, and collaborate with stakeholders across the product organization in a growing SaaS environment. Responsibilities include maintaining outbound email security metrics, managing Web Application Firewall rules, securing Kubernetes infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining our central HTML sanitization service written in TypeScript. Requirements include practical knowledge of security topics (penetration testing, secure software development, vulnerability management, SAST/DAST), strong programming skills (TypeScript/JavaScript/Kotlin/Java/Go/Python), and experience with Unix and Kubernetes infrastructure (Terraform and Kustomize preferred). Excellent English communication skills (German a plus).
