Senior Product Manager for Payroll — Lehi, Utah (In-person) Veras is a fast-growing healthtech startup building vertical SaaS for long-term care. You will be based in Lehi, Utah, in an in-office role, leading the payroll product from zero to one with high ownership. What you'll do: - Own payroll product strategy, discovery, requirements, design, build, and go-to-market. - Become the payroll domain expert through regular conversations with payroll administrators, operators, and experts behind leading payroll solutions. - Translate complex payroll requirements (multi-entity, pay groups, shift differentials, overtime rules, multi-state tax) into an intuitive product experience. - Lead UX for the product, prototyping with AI tools and validating concepts with customers before engineering. - Collaborate with an engineer in a two-person startup pod with full ownership. - Build on the Time & Attendance foundation and apply learnings to payroll. - Partner with sales and customer success on go-to-market, pricing input, positioning, and customer training. - Mentor other product team members and shape product direction alongside the founding team. - Leverage modern AI tools to multiply output, including prototyping, research, analysis, and process improvements.
