Waymo is seeking a Senior Product Data Scientist, Planning to join our hybrid team in the United States. This role reports to the Director of Product Data Science and partners with Engineering, Product, and Operations to support long-term strategic decisions around vehicle allocation, capital investment, and growth planning. You will develop forecasting models to measure the impact of long-term investments on key business metrics, build optimization models to allocate vehicles and infrastructure across markets, and conduct deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities for improvement. Qualifications include at least 3 years of industry experience, proficiency in Python and SQL, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and experience with ML, causal inference, and optimization algorithms. Experience collaborating with product management and engineering teams and developing data pipelines is required. Preferred: experience with causal inference, optimization, and forecasting. This is a full-time position with the salary range of $196,000–$242,000 USD; Waymo offers a discretionary annual bonus program and benefits. Location: Mountain View, CA; San Francisco, CA; United States. Hybrid work arrangement.
