Nomic is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own and scale our infrastructure across multi-account AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD. You will ensure our agents run reliably in production, orchestrate rollouts across customer environments, and maintain industry-leading performance as we expand. This is a senior individual-contributor role with broad ownership and real architectural influence in a hybrid New York City setting.

What you’ll own - Rollout and deployment: orchestrate how our agents and services roll out across customer cloud environments, including deployment strategies, per-customer configuration, automated health checks, and the monitoring that catches issues before customers notice. - Inference and performance: keep model inference fast, reliable, and cost-effective at scale, covering serving infrastructure, GPU workloads, and performance work that keeps agents responsive as volume grows. - Core infrastructure: Kubernetes, multi-account AWS, CI/CD, observability (traces, metrics, logs, alerting, SLOs), disaster recovery, and cost management. - Security posture: access controls, secrets management, network security, image scanning, dependency auditing, and compliance work (SOC 2, enterprise security) as customer requirements demand. - Infrastructure as code: define, provision, and evolve all infrastructure through code—design modules, manage state, and reason about blast radius.
