About the role

VetsEZ is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a 100% remote position to support a large federal government healthcare modernization program. The selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework, and .NET Core, and help migrate existing services to .NET Core. You will work with architects, frontend developers, backend data teams, and QA engineers to deliver enterprise-grade API solutions while implementing secure authentication and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure. The candidate must reside within the continental United States; relocation is not required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework, and .NET Core; implement secure authentication using OAuth, JWT, or similar protocols.
Develop, package, and deploy API solutions through automated CI/CD pipelines and publish services using Azure API Management for routing, versioning, policy enforcement, monitoring, and security.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and functional testing for .NET APIs to ensure quality, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with frontend developers, backend data providers, architects, and QA teams to define API designs, integration strategies, and testing approaches.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues while maintaining detailed technical documentation and supporting ongoing platform enhancements.
Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve coding efficiency, testing, debugging, and overall software delivery within an
